“This was such a beautiful home! Very warm, perfect walks straight from the door! Pet friendly and very close to supermarkets & shops. Easy to get to and lots to do around the area. The home has everything you need from utilities to cooking equipment. Very cosy and homely, honestly one of the best places we’ve stayed! An amazing location for family holidays and countryside escapes. The host David was very helpful and super friendly. I was sad to leave this house, we will definitely return!”

“Wow! What can we say! This house is stunning. Gorgeous extras like a huge wine and beer fridge, pool table & log burner. David was fantastic as a host, I peppered him with questions and requests as we were there for a big birthday. He recommended places to eat but we ended up using his recommendation for a private chef to come in and cook for us. I sent decorations to him in advance and the house looked fantastic when we arrived plus they had left a card and drinks for us to celebrate with too, beyond the call of duty! We could check in early and relaxed departure so we left at 1.30pm. All in all a fabulous property, excellent host and we already have plans to return in the summer. Thank you!”

“A group of 8 of us spent my wife's 50th birthday at The Beeches. Such a beautiful, comfortable place. Easily accommodated everyone with room to spare. Stunning views, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need, plenty of space for everyone to spread out and chat and relax. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend!”

David met us a The Beeches and communication was great before our arrival. It’s an absolutely beautiful home and for 10 adults was perfect. Kitchen is huge and so we could all chip in with catering. The dining room was perfect and we used the lounge very little because we had great weather! The bedrooms and bathrooms are amazing with all mod cons and we loved it. The outside seating areas are lovely for the beautiful views and peace and quiet. The BBQ worked well for us and the Aga too, even for a roast dinner on Sunday for 10. Really do hope we get to do this again - a perfect way to celebrate my 60th Birthday - thank you David.

Amazing property that has been beautifully renovated to the very highest standards. Great location just outside Matlock so very convenient. Good pubs within walking distance. Highly recommended. Nothing was too much trouble for David & Helen, great hosts. This was our second stay at Oker Farm and I’m sure we will return!

Absolutely fantastic stay in a beautiful house.
The perfect place to hire for a family get-together break. The pool table, table football, conservatory, outside seating area and jacuzzi were hugely appreciated by everyone.
The house is spacious enough that everyone has their own space upstairs and the 2 lounges and large communal kitchen and dining space is the perfect place for everyone to come together.
It's very peaceful and tranquil and the gardens are so beautiful and the location is amazing.
David was the perfect host, couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating - we were very touched by the kind welcoming gesture on arrival (balloons, cake).
Can't recommend this place enough. I researched tons of other houses around the UK and am so glad we chose Oker Farm.
Don't hesitate to book, you won't be disappointed!
